General Election Ballot Drop Box 2020

Amid the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Governor Murphy signed Executive Order No.  177 on August 14, 2020 to create a modified vote-by-mail (VBM) election for the November 3rd  General Election. The County Clerk will send VBM ballots with pre-paid postage to all active  registered voters.

Ballots can be returned to via a secure drop box, the United States Postal Service (USPS), to the  County Board of Elections or an Orange polling location on Election Day with valid identification.

A Vote-by-Mail Ballot Drop Box will be located at:

Deadlines

  • Tuesday, October 13th – to register to vote or change your address. Orange City Hall will be  open until 8:00 PM
  • Monday, November 2nd by 3:00 p.m.- to request an absent ballot
  • Tuesday, November 3rd by 8:00 p.m. – to deliver an in-person absentee ballot

Ballots returned through USPS with a postmark on or before November 3rd will be counted as  
a valid ballot by the County Clerk, if received by 8:00 p.m. on November 10th.

Ballots without a postmark that are received by the County Boards of Elections on or before November 5th by 8:00 p.m. shall be considered valid.

Every registered voter will have the option to complete a provisional ballot on Election Day at a designated polling site.

• Eviction Services – if the property is Tenant Occupied.

IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO KNOW – Advance Funds Available – If funds are needed for things like property repairs, maintenance, landscaping, etc… – I work with an Inheritance Funding Company that will advance funds to you for those repairs or property maintenance, until the property closes escrow. No Equity In The Property – Even if the property is heavily in debt with no equity, we work with Attorneys, and Short Sale Negotiators to get the property “Sold”, with the Bank paying the costs of getting the property sold, as well as attorney fees, short sale negotiator fees, and providing compensation to the Executor or Administrator for their involvement in the process.
